Our story
So she made it.

The beginning
Cherechi started Ché Orika because she couldn’t find what she wanted to wear. She’d go online, find something she loved, and it would fit everywhere except the bust. Most brands simply weren’t making for busty people.
And then there was the bigger question. In Nigeria, people only dress up for occasions. But what about your normal day? Your Monday morning, your regular afternoon? Why can’t everyday clothes be just as considered? So she asked a simple question: why not make something that actually fits, from head to toe, for every day of the week?
The name
Her family is all girls, and she knew that once they married, the surname could change. Keeping “Orika” in the brand was a way to honour her father’s name. A legacy that stays no matter what. And “Cherechi”? It means Wait for God. She put in the work, trusted the timing, and God did the rest.
What we believe
You shouldn’t have to lose weight to pick a dress. The dress finds you.
Your everyday matters too. Not just weddings, not just events. A casual dinner counts. A regular afternoon counts.
A piece should work for brunch, church, a comedy gig, and work. Not just one occasion.
Three years from now, you pull it out and the quality is still there. The colour, the fabric, the shape. Timeless, not trendy.
