Marketing and Growth Manager
Apply for this roleAbout the role
We're looking for an experienced, hands-on marketer to drive awareness, customer acquisition, and repeat sales for our fashion business.
We need someone who brings ideas, investigates problems, and follows through. You should be comfortable managing priorities, explaining your decisions, and improving your approach based on evidence.
You will report to the Chief Marketing Officer.
What you will do
- Prepare monthly marketing plans and content calendars with leadership.
- Plan and deliver campaigns for launches, seasonal occasions, and promotions.
- Find ways to attract new customers and bring existing customers back.
- Work with the videographer on ideas, briefs, and planned shoots.
- Turn videos and other content into campaigns for social media, ads, email, and the website.
- Write campaign copy and create supporting materials using available tools and templates.
- Decide how to use videos and other assets across campaigns, create supporting marketing materials, and test what drives results.
- Manage social media publishing, comments, and enquiries during agreed working hours.
- Run paid ads, manage approved budgets, and test ways to improve results.
- Improve website content, product pages, and calls to action so visitors can find what they need and buy.
- Run A/B tests to find out which ads, pages, and emails perform better.
- Write and publish blog posts and emails, using AI to support your workflow.
- Use website data to spot where visitors leave without buying. Work with technical support on improvements.
- Track traffic, enquiries, sales, and advertising costs. Share a monthly report with clear next steps.
- Keep work organised, meet deadlines, and flag problems early.
What we are looking for
Must have:
- 5+ years of hands-on marketing experience, covering campaigns, customer acquisition, and measurable business results.
- Strong expertise in at least two areas, such as paid acquisition, e-commerce growth, or conversion optimisation, with practical experience across other marketing channels.
- Proven experience running and improving paid campaigns in Meta Ads Manager.
- Experience improving website or landing-page performance, including content, calls to action, and the path to purchase.
- Experience running A/B tests. You can explain the hypothesis, results, and decisions that followed.
- Confidence using analytics tools to understand customer behaviour and campaign performance.
- Regular use of AI in your workflow, with examples of how it improved efficiency, content quality or campaign results.
- Clear writing and editing skills, plus the ability to turn existing footage into useful campaign ideas and supporting assets.
- Experience managing social media publishing and briefing creative contributors.
- The ability to prioritise, execute independently, and take responsibility for results.
- Based in Abuja and available for planned shoots and agreed in-person activities.
Nice to have:
- Experience in fashion, retail or e-commerce.
- Experience running TikTok ads.
- Experience setting up email campaigns, customer groups and automated follow-up messages.
- Working knowledge of SEO and online store platforms.
- Basic design skills for creating simple campaign graphics.
We care more about the work you've done and the decisions you can explain than a particular degree or job title.
Pay and benefits
₦350,000 to ₦450,000 gross monthly
Depending on experience and results
- 15 working days of paid annual leave per year, excluding public holidays.
- ₦10,000 monthly data allowance, paid in addition to salary.
- 12 working days of paid sick leave per year.
- Annual salary review based on agreed KPIs.
How we hire
- Apply. Send your CV and portfolio, two campaign examples, one website improvement or A/B test, and a short example of how you use AI in your marketing work. You can remove confidential information from your examples.
- Practical exercise. Shortlisted candidates will complete a brief practical exercise and talk us through their approach.
- References. We'll request references at the final stage.
